This is not at all what government does in a capitalist society. So, the Pentagon is going to mine, refine, package and sell this to the rest of society here? I don't see this actually happening. Trump's new tariffs on copper is idiotic. We need copper and we will suffer because of Trump.

That is hilarious! I know Trump is pushing this as if it's actually happening, but I seriously doubt it. No one is investing in this. All of a sudden we are going to make up the loss of copper. Trump is a liar.

Illegals will continue to be deported, this is federal policy and SCOTUS has ruled that district court judges can't stop Trumps federal policy.

The Court has ruled in a class action suit that Trump cannot deport many undocumented immigrants. This was the way the SCOTUS ruled that they could.

Just yesterday 2 pot farms were raided in California, protestors couldn't stop the deportations, deportations will continue.

What Trump should do is offer a bounty/reward for turning in illegals. people would make a business of it.

The SCOTUS ruled that a class action suit is the way to stop Trump's deportations of many immigrants. This has been accomplished. Sure, ICE has become an illegal entity and hides their faces and badges while accosting people all the time. This IS authoritarianism.

Undocumented immigrants are only here illegally in the sense that they have a traffic ticket offense against them. Most people here believe in a path forward to citizenship for these people. This is a civil offense, not a criminal one.

Actually, most people in this country are in favor of a path forward for undocumented immigrants. Few people who voted for Trump want what he is doing now.
