i finished it. its quite amazing :P i was pretty excited i actually got it to work. thanks for the help :) I still want to clean it all up cause its not in a housing or anything. just a lot of lose wires. i'll post some pics when its complete

working on a little project. i got the idea from a youtube video YouTube - DIY Laser Show: Laser linked Ipod. still just getting everything together. I still need a solar cell. i know this is a laser forum :P but would anyone know if it makes a difference what the output is on the solar cell?

o-like's 50mw laser is capable of taking either a cr123a or 18650 battery. im not sure what kind would be better. also i want to buy a charger and rechargeable battery or what ever one is best. Looking on Dealextreme. anyone have any idea's? im pretty stuck.

i ordered a 50mw greenie off o-like. i was looking around for safety goggles. found some for 5.99 at focalprice.com. great deal but doesn't protect from the infrared as the laser doesn't have an IR filter. first off, do i need one? and if so where can i find a pair for cheap? thanks

thanks. i think i will go with o-like. a few extra bucks wont hurt to make sure my money's going into something thats to spec :P also does anyone know where to get cheap glasses? these seem decent and the price is amazing. just don't want to run into trouble like i did with DX. still waiting...
