50mw green laser: o-like or Dealextreme

hey. im very new to this. looking for my first greenie. o-like has an adjustable one for $45 with shipping

here

but it looks like Dealextreme has the same one for $32 with shipping.

here

what one should i get? i know DX isn't a reliable as o-like, but they look pretty close. is it worth saving a few bucks and taking the risk? And again this is my first, so if anyone has any idea on a better greenie let me know. don't want to spend more than fifty though.
 





Get the o-like, it'll be a lot closer to spec than the DX version; DX lasers are often underspec (at least from what I've seen).
 
The one from o-like takes either battery, handy for the flexability (you can stick the little one in your pocket) and they are usually overspec
And I have heard the same things as you about DX but still have 2 200mW reds coming in from them right now ^_^
My advice is always buy the best you can afford, you rarely regret the decision.
 
I'd go with O-Like too, my brother had one frommm there and didnt dissapoint !!!
 
thanks. i think i will go with o-like. a few extra bucks wont hurt to make sure my money's going into something thats to spec :P
also does anyone know where to get cheap glasses?
these seem decent and the price is amazing. just don't want to run into trouble like i did with DX. still waiting on a laser from over a month ago
 
I have a couple pair from o-like that are reasonable quality; I've heard mixed feedback about the FP glasses (IIRC: consensus was if you get them, and they aren't broke, they are decent) but I've not bought a pair, so I'm really not sure personally.
 
i think i'll pick up a pair then. i'll check them out and if there no good, w/e it only six bucks. thanks guys
 
^^^ Exacly, they most definitely won't be up to spec either and the QC will be poor too
