hi guys!
i wanna buy the pieces for my firs 1W 445nm diode,

i looked around, i see that a lot of things but i cant connect all together!

i need 1W diode for LASER PROJECTOR, not for laser pointers!
so i need a good laserhead with heatsink, a diode, a driver with ANALOG modulatuion and dicrhor...

looking for your offers, i cant find anything around

Regards
Lorenzo

You need five things for the laser.

1. Diode, can be found many places, f.ex here: http://laserpointerforums.com/f55/gb-445nm-diodes-sale-45-a-51468.html
2. Heatsink, http://laserpointerforums.com/f39/maxsink-ultamate-lab-style-hs-50590.html or contact Flaminpyro, he makes custom heatsinks.
3. Aixiz module, to house and focus the diode, plenty sites sells these, modwerx.com f.ex
4. Lens, f.ex this: 405nm glass lens for AixiZ 12X30mm laser module - eBay (item 380137309450 end time Jul-02-10 13:34:45 PDT)
5. Driver, f.ex Die4Drive

Also, dichros can be found here: http://www.photonlexicon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11466

Or you could wait a bit and buy a complete kit, costs more but makes a better beam and has everything included: http://www.photonlexicon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11393

That's because you are not trying very hard.......
Maybe PL would perhaps be better for gathering info for
building projectors.... or maybe eBay has some already built..

English is difficult for me... sometimes i found tons of pages but i cant really find anything... i spent all day looking on PL and Laserpointerforum,

on ebay there is nothing... only spare diodes

The 445nm LDs in the Casio projector are not TEC cooled... but there
is a large heatsink and a fan...

[EDIT]
There is no location in your profile so I don't know on what part of
the planet you live... my apologies..

you are right... i updated my profile :yh:

waiting for emails, if anyone have some offer to give me, here i am ;)

what you think about this laser heatsink?

DSCN0727wtmk.JPG

it will be enoght with efficent cooling?

styropyro uses that heatsink with his 445 build, and it works nicely for about 3-4 minutes but for a projector, you will need a much bigger heatsink and definitely a fan.

stuart :)

i think if i will use this heatsink i will add 2 little fans on left and right... and maybe tec cooling on the bottom... i hope it's enought...
