Yeah, I definitely agree..the only thing it has going for it is it is focusable. But the price is way high and the marketing is very deceptive.. ;D
 
I think its way overprized as well.. If all specs are met, its a pretty cool laser with nice features.. but its mostly the marketing you pay for anyway.. i don't really like that thought.


@Timelord, seriously, i think you are only posting stupid pictures anytime WL is even mentioned on this forum. I agree with Pseudo that its actually similar to the WL LC forum standards of banning such offtopic crap. On LPF it's covered by the freedom of speach and meaning, however you repeating your bashing pics everytime WL is mentioned is getting pretty annoying. It was fun at first, but you really overdo it right now, and as a global moderator you are mostly poluting treats instead of giving replys with a meaning.

I really don't like to attack a moderator, but i'm as free in speech as you are, and any other forum member would have received the same response, as i make one to you right now. I dislike WL as well, and their way of business, just keep it on topic, and act a bit more responsible with your forum status. thats all.. ::)

hope you understand (and respect) my opinion in this matter.
 
Lol i kind of like the pictures he comes up with. i dont know how he manages to do it but he always comes up with a picture that perfectly fits what hes talking about, and i have never seen it before. its different everytime and they usually give me a laugh.

and as for the laser, i have a question regarding the focusability.

if you could focus 100mw down to a small point, that would be great, but how much can you focus it? like can you make it so that the divergance is like -8mRad or something? that way it burns really well at the aperture?

Don't worry about me TL, I get plently of laughs outside of the laser world. This forum rarely gives me any reason to laugh though - your tired old 'pink' picture for example. I see it daily. Didn't find it funny the first time. Didn't find it funny the thousanth  ;)

And sorry I don't PM you often, but I got tired of the insinuations, insults, and mood swings.

i actually hoped on a more mature reply. I am in no way trying to challenge you, believe me. I know you do make serious replies and topics as well, thats why i vented my concerns as you call them to you. just a bit dissapointed you just trow them aside without any explaination on offtopic crap picture posting, thats all.. and no, im not any of steves boys or something.. don't worry. I do enjoy my stay here, ever since i got here., just giving you an advise on your near-poluting postings. thats all.. no offence mate ;)
 
Okay, folks....time to zip your flies back up, the party is over - this thread is/was about the P.O.S. new laser that Wicked is offerring, and hte ludicrous claims that it is going to military and law enforcement institutions globally. Or at least I HOPE there are other countries as stupid as America is to buy this crap for law enforcement ? Yup - that is my opinion, moderator or not :-) Ridiculous waste of money, IMO.

What's with all the comments about where other people live? Amsterdam, California, Texas, etc. Its been a good 2 centuries or so, is it time for America to whoop your little island's army again? ;)

however i can assure you, i just got back from work without any grasses interfering at the moment ;D

and by the way, i do like you, and your style, and i do like this forum.. don't let there be any doubt about that mate,. it was just constructive feedback :) no attack.

:D you're lucky i did't lit up my special grass yet, or my postings would be even more constructive , if you know what i mean ;)
