Yep... hence the reason he was so quite to be offended by anther site potentialy ruining his business. Also 7 posts brand new member cmon.... Ive been here since like 07 and the f*cker is accusing me.

I just tried to go to there site and Norton popped up and said a recent attack to your computer has been blocked.

I would not go to that site again.:tsk:

@lazeerer: Not hugely knowledgeable on the whole... virus industry. Why would they want to attack potential customers? And if it's not them, are they infected by something else?
 
Iam also not knowledgeable in the Virus world. But i know when a site gives me that Warning i wont go to that site again.

It could be many things that i personal would not want to risk.

It could be the same thing that anselm got if you Read Post #2. I have not went back to that site to check if it went away.

So he got it through Firefox & i got it through Norton.
 
I get the AV popup on occasion. Maybe spyware or Activex from the site

The S3 in the pic looks a bit ruff as far as the finish. Could very well be the pic
i played with a WL S3 and the finish was very good. And check the groove spacing on the top end of your host Vs another S3.

@DarkSide: are you wondering whether it's a knock-off? Tbh, far as i'm concerned it doesn't really matter. It was the design of the hosts we all loved, not what was inside.

Well, once the Firefox gave a warning on VLC web page.:huh: So you may can't make any final conclusions based on that.
 
I don't buy him. I think he is from thinklasers. No effin way the overnighted it to you. You did not actually show a picture of the laser actually emitting a beam. Since when is there a 532 Arctic? This all seems a little sketchy. I don't know why you would even bother with a site that has such a horrible rep. It makes you look stupid for not even searching the name in the forums.

Thinklasers cannot be U.S. based or they would get shut down....
 
@drevil: That's not an Arctic. That's a Spyder III Pro. Wicked took them off sale shortly after the arctic was released.

If this is a hoax, it's a good hoax.

thanks. Anyway, its not that its a hoax. It is that I believe he is advertising. Why else is he here? It is very odd that he just shows up and has a laser the next day.

Seems to me scammers are finally trying a smarter approach( well not that smart)

Here's how we solve this.

@lpfanman: I'm assuming since you just bought a 100mW laser you have other lasers. So what other websites do you purchase from? What other lasers do you have and where did you get them? And what other companies can you reccomend?
