are wicked lasers allowed to be imported into Australia?
on their website it says that they are 100% legal but is that only to America or worldwide?

has anyone from Australia bought a laser pointer from wicked lasers and it arrived to them safely?

thank you in advance.

Don't believe it.

Customs will get you.

Trust me I have had customs sent me letters saying they destroyed my laser.

And I could of been fined/jailed.

Try buy locally. Trust me I'm an Aussie to.

Also use the search tool this has been talked about so many times.

Good luck.!

Don't buy from Wicked lasers. They are generally underspec and they are ILLEGAL to import.

Don't risk it...

WL (hand held lasers) or any other laser pointer cannot be imported in AU.

I think only (Northern territory) did not ban laser pointers completely.

WL in USA are on import black list.

You still can check AU laws to make 100% accurate info.

Hope this info helps to keep you out of any trouble.

WL is on Australian black list as well. The only way WL can get their lasers into Australia is to ship it via one of their other warehouses located in Europe. This is my experience anyway...

I have an Arctic for sale that peaks at 710mW.
pm me if interested !

Jim

thank you everyone for the quick replies and AUSBEN, where can i buy laser pointers locally (and that are over 1mW)?

i have A arctic, dunno how it got in....probs the old strip down and ship out method :p

I wonder how far AU law goes.

I think that I've seen one post where AU laser owner get unexpected visit from Police dept. folks.

SO the question is what to do in AU once you receive your laser.

Is it something like owning illegal weapon in the house or?

It would be interesting to read, what actual AU laser owners can say about this issue.

I just got a 405nm nano from wickedlasers, I live in down south WA. :D
They declared it as an electrical torch and that it was worth $27. It worked :)

Ive had 12 lasers arrive into Australia over last 2 months, THE RULES of best chance of it arriving. never send a battery or charger or googles with it. Remove all laser stickers, never call it a laser, Call it a flashlight or torch. if keys come with it put them inside laser, pack it casual not like its worth much. That said they for the most part were cheap but medium power lasers I'm currently waiting for two expensive ones to arrive and i would give up all the others if the 2,expensive ones arrive ...but knowing luck they will get grabbed, ive lost 4 lasers over last year, cheap ones just a dear John letter in the mail to bad how sad and that's it, with threat if you try to get it back we will make it as hard as possible and if you lose they will also fine you. Luck of the draw, so I'm holding my breath at the moment on these two expensive ones making it ..as far as getting high powered green lasers locally ive been asking for two months offering top dollar with a large premium very large, no luck, so good luck trying if i one does come up i will put in large offer so you will have fight me off with a even bigger offer ,good luck on that one, money really isn't issue its certainty i will get it Not lose it in customs .
