which ultrafire 18650 battery is better?

In that case, go with the ones closest to what you already have. One pack are protected cells, the other isn't.

Yea i'm thinking of the same thing. but both of them says "protected".

Didn't see that the first time round. You can always take off the protection circuit later
 
They look the same to me. Chose the cheaper ones, $7.31 isn't a fortune for two 18650 batteries.

I have also gray Ultrafire 2400mAh in my lasers and they all still working fine.
 
Don't mix cells. Use only one cell, or get better cells.

If you mix cells, they should be from the same manufacturing batch. Just because two cells have the same Ultrafire wrapper doesn't mean that they are from the same batch. Heck, it doesn't even mean that they are the same cell. It just means that they haven't run out of those wrappers yet.
