Just a friendly tip, I always put my diodes in a small sealable container, just to keep dust off the windows. :beer:

Why not build something big, a multi diode unit maybe?

yes yes something like a multicolor sky beacon! attract some ufos, just be sure no planes are flying overhead and the neighbors dont call the cops

The only cure for laser addiction is more lasers , weird ones help 589 , 473 561,515(don't have but I have a 520) and last but not least 612nm.
