What is the best green laser I can get for under $30

There's nothing really decent for under $30. You can buy six ebay cheapies so that you'll have lots of spares in case one dies.

These kind of "lasers" are about the worst quality anyone can buy....
Alot of IR and low Green light.

The only good thing about them is the low price.

Most of them are at least 30-50mW

Well I know there are several generations of eBay pens. The older ones had a full brass module while the newer ones have a mostly plastic module that is non removable. The newer ones also have a smaller silver cap while the older ones had a longer cap. (If anyone has bought eBay pens back in 2008-2009 you'll know what I'm talking about)

That's interesting, I have two of the first type (A 532 and a 405) and one of the second type (a 532). The second type has a faulty button and requires a reasonable amount of force to power up (and appears to increase in power the harder I press). I was under the impression they came from DX but they may be ebay pens, and I def agree the first type are better quality. I was given them for nothing by my OH's family.
