Just a venting thread... I order an epic laser and some safety glasses from Blord, however they have been sitting in customs for 6 days. I feel like some sort of druggy checking my tracking info every 10 minutes, but what is a man to do?

Just a random question for you guys, what is the average/max amount of time you have waited for your lasers to come through US. Customs?

mileage varies on this. had some not even hardly go through customs, one of them i waited almost a week on. *shrugs*

IF only four days, US the land of arriving lasers ,milk and honey. Did you hear about a laser i tried to get into Australia well what happened was ..............old sad news ....

We don't speak ill of the siezed :( it fell victim to canser/customs both a terminal diagnosis. You should be fine in the us. Aussie don't have it so easy.

^Especially when alot of them know how to pick a hand made one from a cheapy Chinese laser.

^MUCH easier. You ARE allowed to import laser parts like modules etc just not the full things. Australia has some really stupid laws TBH, but i'm sure you have laws that you laugh at as well :)

Do you guys from the US know if the customs work with full staff size?

Yesterday I send an E-Mail to the FAA and they send me an email that they're out of office cause of that shutdown.

Now I'm wondering how many governmental facilyties like FAA and FDA (maybe customs too) are really down?

Customs is only operating at about 10%, I was told by a friend a t USPS at this rate it could be WEEKS before stuff goes all the way through for us in the US. Quicker if the shutdown ends.

*please note - this is just what my friend told me - I googled it and it says that customs is running at 100%.

Here is the link I foundLink
