video of my 1watt rgb scanner

so you've got over a watt leaving the galvos? heh that's nuts, i could easily get a bunch of red and green but no way do i have the money for a 200mW+ blue :o

yeah the lasers in total measure just over 1.1watts.

so counting lossing im should have no less than 1watt leaving the galvos.

ive only got 100mw blue sadly.

530mw green and 500mw red

do you turn the other colors down when running RGB? It seems very well balanced

well red is on full as you can never have enough red.

blue is on full and green is down to 30% i think

did take me a while to get a good colour match. my problem now is alignment. my home made mounts are up to scratch. so im in the process of buying some proper mounts

Holy crapolie, that last "fasten your seatbelts" starburst was practically seizure inducing... ;D Good work again, Andy!

I really hope you can find enough gigs to pay for it all! 100mW of blue musta cost you a pretty pence.

the blue was £400 so not to bad

yet to do any proper shows, im holding off till its perfect and once i get these new mounts it will be perfect.

I bought a few of the 100 thread-per-inch mounts from Bridge and they're nicely made. He seems to have trouble with shipping costs from Bejing though. Maybe someone who was part of that group buy might sell theirs, or Max might still have some left over from those who backed out, have you tried asking him?
