Hey there guys, I posted the "new to forums, starting a project" the other day.. I found a driver schematic with parts list on here somewhere the other day that one of you had made.. it was rather good, but cannot for the life of me find it again.. If somebody could post the link for me that would be great so I can make a trip to radio shack.

Regards,
-Jon

Oh yes, this is it..

Thank you sooo much, everybody on this forum is so helpful. That is so rare, usually a bunch of smartass people on forums that are of no help at all.
I'm off to radio shack soon, thanks again!

Regards,
-Jon

There is actually MUCH better ways to drive laser diodes than a linear regulator like this, but I haven't had the time to draw out a schematic yet. Make sure you use a good quality pot (Or use a fixed resistor) on good lasers, cause one problem here will FRY it.
