it could be a green HeNe but going by size i don't think it is, probably just a mains powered portable attached to a block

Wicked Lasers claims that the laser he used came from them, but it doesn't look like anything they offer.
 
I just worked out how he made the coat hanger drop, if you watch where his hand goes just before he puts his hand in the beam you can see a switch thet releases a cable holding the hanger. apart from that im stumped.
 
He has little lights on his finger so he can fake that he touches the beam, I can't remember the rest on how he did it though.

Yeah, I figured that one out too. I mean, he's awkwardly leaning against the thing when the coat hanger drops. Pretty obvious :)

But the beams in the hands and stuff... that's just awesome... all I can think of is a fiber optic cable running down his arm.
 
To "bend" the beam, he probably just keeps some portable green lasers in his hand that he turns on while blocking the beam with his palm so it looks like it is bending. Those glows on his fingers are just lights in fake thumbs (they had some you could buy in Las Vegas when I was there).
 
I have seen this video a lot of times by now, but I still like it. It looks so nice. 8-)
Of course magic isn't involved, he is probably doing at least one of the theories in this thead. But he is very skilled in making it look real, he is a very good illusionist. And all magic is just illusions, of course, but it can't be easy to make it look as real as in this video.
And how the hell is he able to hold some portable greenies in his hand, shouldn't that have been clearly seen in the vid? :-/
 
Since he's moving his hands so quickly, and the lasers are probably flesh colored, it's probably not too hard. One can be strapped to your palm pretty easily without impeding the movement of your fingers. If he had to he could use some fiber optics too.

Still, like all magicians, it's quite entertaining and the way they pull off their moves is great.
 
I know people who see magicians and say 'that's not really magic, what a load of crap'.

Lets be frank. Those people are fools :)

You don't go to a magic show to see 'magic'. lol. You go to it to see tricks and illusions that are so good that you'll go away thinking 'how the hell did he do that?' :)
