Well I had an idea on what I would like to submit to the "under $100" laser, but unfortunately since I live in Costa Rica, shippings of parts aren't as fast and I wasn't going to post a laser that didn't have my personal touch.
So finally I was able to finish the mod today, tell me what you think, it's a 100mw 405nm.

Maybe I wouldn't have had a chance but I would have liked to be able to make it for the contest, oh well maybe next time.

Really nice polishing there, I'm glad you haven't entered! ;) Whats the host, it looks a little like an SK96, but with a different bezel? What driver are you using and what current is it set at? Will you also try to get some beam pics?? +1 and

Well thanks for the comments. The laser is the wallbuys in my signature, got it for $25 and just changed it from anodized to mirror finish, unsung sandblaster and bench polisher.

I consider that it does look much better than much more expensive lasers.

Very nice laser, that would have gone very well in the contest, I'm sure :)

I agree, would really like to see some nice beam pics when you get the chance.

Norbyx you would have done well!! That's for sure! :yh: Good job buddy!
