Stupid kid with 800 "megawatt" laser






I figured with the fact that this kid is autistic the OP may
have changed the title to exclude the word 'stupid' :tsk:

Since when is it acceptable behavior to continue to poke at
a person with a disability?

This thread is in poor taste IMO...
 
how about :irresponsible, wealthy parents let child play with dangerous laser?:
 
That's not autisim it's idioisim
autistics don't act like that, at least the one I knew didn't

looking at the child, hearing him speak,
I do not believe that story about the "Autistic Brother"...
sounds like a daft person trying to cover up their own error with a story.
 
how many trolls have been caught here saying, oh i left my computer on... i doubt the kid has autism. and it is really the main kid just not wanting to take responsibility.
 
So assuming they're not lying, and the kid actually has autism, how would we go about contacting his parents? He shouldn't be messing with that. He doesn't even have goggles.

I completely agree, this kid is lighting matches under low light in the room.
His eyes are at risk here, but the only thing you could possibly do is
contact via youtube, and hope that is the 'older brother' who replies
and get the kid some goggles.

That kid is like 10 maybe 12, regardless...

My ex GF had a degree in child psychology and worked with autistic kids,
not all cases are the same. There are signs like stacking objects and certain
behaviors that are typical, but I dont think anybody outside of this kids life
can say he 'is' or 'is not'.

The youtube account holder was contacted by a member here, as seen above.
The YT account holder did not join the forum to defend himself from a
meaningless mistake.

I think safety of a child should be the topic here.. :anyone:
 
Maybe his IQ is arround 60 and ge got extremely annoyed by all the
' i can burn with my laser ' videos as so on purpose he acts like this

@ least he knows how to order pointers from websites ... lol it's so DUMB that i laugh about the videos and US here commenting his crap :P

I shouldn't have even mentioned the autism, because they shouldn't be giving it to a kid, period. That was my main point I was trying to drive across and lost it in translation. I'm sorry, I didn't intend to offend.
 
People assume bad things about children as well, if they're safe then cool if not then we need to promote safety to them.
 
Here's the thing though. Children can be as safe as they want, but they lack worldly experience and judgment that would be required to operate a tool like that safely without supervision.
 
I think it depend also from kid to kid, and from the education received, and probably from attitudes .....

Times ago my cousins was playing with a dog with a laser pointer (small 2mW), and when one of their friends pointed it in face of the dog, the 6 years one said him "not in face, stupid, it's dangerous" ..... (ok, i always stress them about safety, when left them play with my keychain pointer, so probably they have learned something about safety, hearing me always repeating the same things ..... the last times i left them use it, when i said them, the same 6 years old one looked me seriously and replied "i know, i am not an idiot, there is no need that you say the same thing all the times" ..... :p)
