I happened to stumble onto laserpointer forums after watching that Instructable video on how to turn a DVD burner into a laser using a Mini-Mag!
Finding this forum was one of the best things to happen to me in quite a while!
Tons of helpful and informative people here!!!
I am the I.T. Manager for a medium sized company in NW Oklahoma City.
I moved here from Connecticut @ 6 years ago with my lovely bride of 21 years.
Actually, it was the company that she works for that moved us out here.....(her paycheck is bigger than mine...so you gotta do what you gotta do)
We have NO children..but do have three cats...
Yes we are the "Weird Cat People down the street"... ;D
We are RABID Boston RedSox fans, and listen to every single game on the internet.
We have a deck, covered by one of those Sunsetter Awnings.
I put 2 outdoor speakers in, and tied them into the stereo system.
I then connect my Laptop to the stereo and log into MLB.com.
We subscribe to "Gameday Audio" and can hear the real BOSTON feed on WRKO.
Screw ESPN...a game not called by Joe Castiglione isn't worth hearing...hehehehehehe
Anyway...I thank you all for your patience with me and all of my questions.
I look foward to building a TON of knowledge here...and also building a ton of Lasers, with the help of everyone here!!!
My other Hobbies include, RC Airplanes, Fishing, Hunting, PC Gaming, Target shooting, and Home Improvement (Not the T.V. Series..the Home Depot "God I love this place" type).
