Snow and Lasers

I took some pictures today in the snow with my 1W 445nm. We're supposed to get 4-7 inches overnight on top of the foot we already have. Some spots have 3 feet drifts . If you're wondering, I'm in Minnesota.

Seeing it in the dark would be even cooler! Would it be able to melt snowflakes in the air??
