Smallest red laser

Im looking for a red laser pointer that is about an inch or two long and 3/8 of an inch wide more or less. It does not have to be super powerful but the light can be seen from 1 to 4 miles away but strength does not matter as much. If there is a laser that meets this specification could someone tell me where i can get it? Also if someone could tell me where a private maker of lasers in the New york/ Pennsylvania/ New Jersey area could be found? Thanks in Advance

He IS a laser manufacturer.  

I was just speaking with swordofsalvation about this very prejudice.  The builders here do better work, for less cost, with better customer service than the type of companies you are thinking of.  Unless you are focused on having a green laser, the better deal and product is here.  Plus, if you want to "burn" stuff, dollar-for-dollar, both red and violet lasers burn better than green.

What is your description of a "company" then?

Maybe you just have a basic misunderstanding on how lasers are made as well as articles of incorporation or simple DBA's.

No offesnse wizard but your being WAAAAAAY too picky. 3/8 of an inch! A laser can't be made out of a few atoms. Why does it need to be company made? Okay, so you want a 3/8 inch red pointer that shoots one to four miles that is made from a local company. Oh yeah, and I win the lottery.

You could probably buy a thousand at a time if you needed...

The only thing not on your list is :-

1) the Company is not in the USA

2) don't know if you can see it at 1 mile..

Yeah... your question is very uneducated which is fine, 98% of the world is uneducated in this area. It is your ignorance that bothers me though.

The lasers that people on this website make in their garages (the reds/violets) are of the same quality as any company you will find, at a lower price with better service. All a laser company is is a group of people (or even a single person) who sells lasers. That is what is here.
