do you sell 2W 808 diodes? Just the bare diode and nothing else

yes, how many pcs you need for 808nm 2W laser diode? And the package

I'm also interested in one 2W 808nm laser diode. Preferred package is TO-3.

What are the prices for a TO-18 Package?

I don't think you are going to find a 2W in a TO-18 package, for ease of use I would try TO-3 if I were you.

:D sorry I for got to mention that I was wondering about a 500mW TO-18 package or a TO-5 package ;D

hi how many pcs do you need ?

I contacted this seller and his prices are pretty good. :D For 2W TO-3 808nm the price is $73 a piece for quantities of over 10, that is a nice price considering Snoctony sells them for a little over a hundred shipped. I'm tempted to run a GB for these but I don't want to get stuck with a problem if something goes wrong.

Do you sell single diodes? I was just wondering... I am making a Kryton-Blu (blu-ray in kryton :D) and I might be able to get one after Christmas. But not soon anyway...

What is the easiest way to collimate a TO-3 package? anything with a aixis module? or is the plan to mostly use these to pump dpss lasers.

These diodes are easy to heatsink so you just have to stick a lens in front of it for collimation. A TO-3 laser diode is way too big for an Aixiz module, but you can just slap one of the TO-3 laser diodes in a TO-3 transistor heatsink (available all over the internet) and then stick a lens in front of it. Much easier than C-mount diodes IMO.

And Artix, I don't see myself running a GB anytime soon, sorry. :( I don't have any experience running a GB, but maybe we can pester AMK enough for a GB. ;D 2 Watts of lasery goodness does sound fun, but goggles are mandatory (and expensive!) A good pair of goggles will cost more than these diodes! (Cheapest source is from pseudo at $85)

That is okay. But 2 watts of invisible light would just be AWESOME!

The TO-3 heatsinks are very cheap and very easy to find!
