lol this reminds me of just the other night, my sister came running to me freaking out claiming that electricity was coming out of her band aid when she pulled apart the sticky stuff. She had me follow her into a dark room so i could see the electricity. She pulled apart the sticky stuff and I did see a very very faint blue spark.

Does that mean that scotch tape is hazardous in space?

Yes. Using scotch or duct tape for external repairs is frowned upon in the aerospace industry.

I doubt that has to do with x-rays though
