2W 561nm would be pretty cool as well , But 6W of 577nm yellow would be unbelievable ! I can't find a price anywhere so they must be SUPER expensive ?I would be happy with 6W 577nm Genesis Taipan

Last pricing I saw was upwards of $30,000 just for the head - no driver or anything else.
 !
!And to think that for some institutions this is as easy of a purchase as us buying a 532 pointer!

I've been trying to get a purchase for ~$35,000 through for months now... Between getting quotes and getting things approved/signed off on it can take a while.

diachi what do you do for a living, Obviously something that requires a $35,000.00 dollar laser ?Well, easy financially maybe, but you're forgetting all of the bureaucracy that goes into a purchase that pricey.I've been trying to get a purchase for ~$35,000 through for months now... We'll see......I doubt very seriously that his $35,000 purchase is for a laser.
I think it is 50 W 589 nm laser guide star system and one dead kitten for 10K rep power.Unless you are god.
Well, you can't prove I'm not god... :eg:

I guess buying a big UPS could be like buying a dangerous laser when it comes to the bureaucracy involved in buying one ?Nope
It's for refurb/repair on a big UPS.
