Looks beefy, but has the same box lining as cheapo ebay lasers and the new dx snoctony laser http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.7414

Coincidently snoc sell new wish style clones. http://www.snochina.com/Product.asp?BigClassName=Laser Pointers which may be the supplier of dx non true brand of lasers.

Also a google search of snoc lasers i found this http://www.snoc-electronics.com

Anyone know the manufacturer of this laser? A few people have said their true dx lasers are not stamped with new wish. Maybe dx switched suppliers and have kept it quiet? I know my old dx true is different from my new dx true (the box and length are slightly different) but my newer dx has more power. Maybe i'm wrong and they alterd the design. But back to the subject... that laser looks pretty sweet. Are you selling it or do you own it and are going to do a review?

I have previously tested a model that looks identical to this one - it was supposed to be 250mw, and was putting out about 80mw of power, with about 60% of that output being IR. IF you are interested in sending a unit for review, and testing I can do that - otherwise do not expect too many bites on this unit from the folks of this forum. I will move this topic to the companies and reviews section as well. It's nice if you identify yourself as the owner of these items when you post, and not make us have to "Pull teeth" to get answers !

I stay pretty busy testing lasers that folks send me....man, if I charged $5.00 a pop (Which I do NOT CHARGE !) I could afford a nice RPL blue by now :P LOL !!!

please send one of each model for review so we can test the power and IR output of each type.

i just emailed them about it, in case noone else had... naughty them were not obeying RFC 2142 (a set of internet standards that says what standard email addresses should exist for any domain - abuse@domain, webmaster@domain, etc)! but my email did get through after i looked at their contact details :)
 
I noticed that site doesn't have prices or ordering info posted. Seems like an industrial supplier N/A to the public.
