In Newsom versus Trump in the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, US assistant AG is arguing the National Guard have been necessary to keep protestors out of federal buildings. This is far from true as the media was there and found at no point were federal buildings at risk. He is arguing that the courts have no ability to review Trump's actions. I really don't see that flying.

Governor Kathy Hochul has announced that NY is giving $50 million in legal fees to immigrants arrested by ICE in that state.

The NYSE went way down today because of the war between Israel and Iran.
Also, it's down because Dumbass Donald is taking about the US getting involved. The Dow was down 300 points, while the NASDAQ was down more than 180 and the S&P was down more than 60 points.
 
A Federal judge has held the Florida AG in contempt as he not only refused to adhere to her order, but he disputed the judges ruling. This is over Florida's immigration law that adds criminal sanctions to undocumented immigrants there.
 
Because the Fed has projected higher prices and harm from Trump's tariffs, they have decided unanimous to hold interest rates where they are.
