I've narrowed it down to two:

I can't decide between the DL Viper 95 - $199
:-/
Or the NOVA Alpha 105 - $289

I like the price and pen style of the Viper, but I like the build quality, the AA's and the better heatsink of the Alpha.

Arghhh!!!

I CAN'T DECIED HELP!!!! :-[

The alpha is FDA compliant (i think) which means it has all the safety features that you may find annoyng, like the 3 second delay for example. There's a good chance it will also offer you more power. :P

I would go with the Alpha 105 :P I have one and it does over 130mW average with good batteries. with rechargeables it stays around 120mW average and it lasts for about 3 hours of moderate to heavy use. you can run it for about 3 minutes with no changes in power. It has a normal push button switch but I just use a hair tie to keep it on as I pop balloons at 10+ft with it ;D
plus the alpha comes in a sweet case :D

dealextreme.com doesn't sell good lasers, if they could afford to sell good lasers for that cheap then other companies would go out of business... you get what you pay for
