O-Like red laser?






I have one, it is great. The focus ring is not as tight as I would like, but the output is quite good. I don't have a laser meter but I can tell it's quite a bit better than the 200mW red new style laser. The new 300mW red burns faster and I did a test. The 300mW laser will burn through a CD case in 3.5 seconds focused to a point. The new style 200mW will burn through the CD in 6 seconds, twice as slow. Since the red light is deep red, the brightness between the two is not noticeable to just slightly noticeable. So, yes it is worth it, it was for me.
 
The big question is...can the lens be replaced by one of the lenses available here on the forums to squeeze out a bit more power?
 
I am also looking at this laser and am VERY interested in buying it.

My concerns.... is o-like reliable? Will I really receive a 300 mW red laser pointer or will they just scam my money? I ask this cause I've been scammed outta money before and do NOT want this happening again... and also, will I get the full 300 mW power outta it?

Oh yeah and one more thing, where is o-like company located at? Is it in the USA?

And, will this ship to the USA if the company isn't located in the USA? Cause, I have heard about certain FDA laws and didn't know if it would. Please answer my previous questions too! Thanks soooo much!
 
O-like is a reputable company... You will get your laser. They are located in china. Their 300mw cute is >280mw.

I just ordered this one... it was a bit hard to pay $60 for a laser outta my christmas money.... ughhh

But....... lets hope I get it and it's what I paid for. Not infared or anything so I can see and am very excited for the burning part of it. I'll make a new thread soon about it updating it and all. I'll post it here when I do.
