I have ever rejected  many members who interested and want to buy our 1pcs Nichia  405nm CW 100~120mW rated laser diodes .brandnew ,no harvesting .
Now there are 40pcs left after a big order .so who have interests ,pls roll here

Link as below :

also there are our finished Blue-Violet 405nm 80mW Dilda host focus adjustable laser torch link for your reference:

I love your green modules but it is hard to compete with 10$ PHR sleds.

These diodes aren't comparable to PHRs... Although the spec sheet rating is 100-120mw, it has been pushed up to 6x powers...

PHR diodes cannot be driven to that power ::)

Wow, this sounds interesting! :o

I wish I knew how Igor's tests were going. Anyone know anything about the Nichia life test he was doing?

Re: O-like Nichia100-120mW CW rate 405nm laser dio

Yeah, no news yet? Sounds like that one nichia he's got is still slaving away, muhuhahaha ;D

Bumping an old thread for input from Igor... I'd be interested in one of these if we knew more about them...

The 6X is a better diode.

Peace,
dave

Well, you can't say that.

Yes. I can. I just haven't told you how I know.

I strongly disagree, sir. :D

Igor tested them at the same currents, and IIRC, this diode outputted more power.
Plus, it has long pins, and there is no risk of killing it while harvesting (even though the 6x is easy to harvest).

Let me rephrase that:

They cannot be driven to those powers, and survive more than a day ::)

The two of you are talking about two different things.  I believe that Drew's statement is only referring to the 100mW-120mW in the title, NOT the potential output that IgorT drove it up to.

dave

Your memories are of the initial testing.  I do not have the numbers in front of me any more.  However, I can give you a scenario that will explain the situation.  IgorT had a choice between doing a GB (now two different GB's) for these Nichia diodes or for the 6X sleds.  IgorT's new lasers have the 6X diode in them, NOT this Nichia.  Price was NOT the reason for the decision.

Peace,
dave

Well, it's kind of like harvesting a slightly more powerful 16x diode, or buying a 16x diode from Stonetek.
I, for one, am goning to stick with 6x diodes because i am good at harvesting and they are a little more powerful.

Now if we couldn't get the 6X sleds anymore . . . . . . . . ;)
