I have been talking with Susie over at O-like about some possible candidates for a group buy. These have been offered at a good price. 50mW 450nm laser pen /single mode/round dot [OL-450-50P] - $82.00 : Zen Cart!, The Art of E-commerce. $58.00 per unit based on 10 units, as compared to $82.00 regular price. The price would likely be lowered further if more than 10 units were involved. I have requested one of these for review and will post my findings as soon as I can.

If you are interested, just reply to this thread, and like I said I hope to be able to review one of these ASAP.
 





i 2 am interested but im new here so i may need help doing this group by thing.
 
Considering the price of the diode vs the complete laser... I'll stick with the laser.

Besides, I think newwish hosts get a bad rep... they aren't bad looking imo.
 
I haven't seen one in person so I can't comment.

I might just buy a whole heap of the diodes. I have plans for them :eg: Maybe a 450, 532, 635 white spiro?

UPDATE:
O-like has not responded to two separate e-mails requesting a unit for review (at the GB price, not for free). I have just sent another e-mail explaining that there is considerable interest in these units at the GB price. Hopefully I will have one in my hands to review for you guys soon. I will update as soon as I hear back from them.
