O-Like delivery time frame

Just curious what people have experienced buying from o-like, I live in the US - Georgia. Any idea's what I can expect?

I'll let you know as soon as I get my current order from them. so far experience has been good though, placed my order on the 23rd and it's just been shipped today via registered airmail. they've emailed me the tracking ID without me needing to ask for it which is better than the last company I ordered from.

Only one thing that annoys me about o-like's site is that unless you know to add the DHL delivery option to the cart before checkout there isn't an option to choose it later.. my fault and I know for next time but still quite annoying.

Just ordered a 200mW 532nm transformable on the 27 and was just shipped on the 30th . we'll see how long it takes to get to NY

Well, I did the same "slow shipping" option from o-like. I placed an order on the 16th (300mw 650nm + safety glasses), which was shipped out on Dec.23rd.

Now I'm in Canada, but in theory it should be similar times for shipping to the USA. As it sits right now however, it's Jan 1st, and I haven't heard anything yet. (Been 10 days basically since being shipped) Like mentioned though, they did provide me a tracking number proactively which was awesome.

The downside is that it doesn't seem to get updated. This is what it says in the tracking info:

23-12-2010 23-12-2010 INFORMATION RECEIVED (From Shenzhen to Registered Mail section)

That's it - no actual updates exactly, just... "Yes we got your package"

I expect 2-3 weeks delivery time though which is pretty standard from China though.

I recall it taking 2-3 weeks for regular cheap shipping to the East Coast US -- probably more like three than two -- when I picked up a red from them a couple of months ago.

Don't stress if the tracking information does not seem to be updating. That is normal.

I had one take 18 days total and I am expecting another package in a day or two that I bought on dec 12th. My 400mW 405nm should be here in 1-2 weeks I think: I bought it dec 26th.

Just be thankful that it doesn't take a month for O-like to even begin shipment, the way DealExtreme takes absolutely forever to even begin sending out their packages. It's one reason it is never worth using the better shipping methods from DealExtreme.

Yeah, I finally received a tripod clamp (paid $2.71 for it) from DX. It took a month to get to me. I bought it Dec 4th and just got it today. Needless to say, it took awhile....
