Hello fellow enthousiasts! :beer:

Today i offer you for sale this:

Today i finished this laser! It has the following spec's:

- New M-140
- Direct press diode
- 1.8A FMT DRV2 boost drive
- G2 a like lens from the recent GB!
- Focus to infinity for standard
- 2.5W peak power (graph below)
- Fingerprint resistant powdercoat
- Texturized grip
- Scratch resistant
- Driver heatsinked with german old coin
- Need i say more?

Here are a couple more pics:

The driver actualy did not fit in the module. It is a 17mm board. So what i did was dremel a slot in the side of the driver department and slide the driver in from the side. Then i epoxied the edges to fix it. And thermally glued a cusom made coin underneath. Worked like a charm!

Here is a graph of the output:

Steady as a rock duty cycles would be 2 minutes on and 2 minutes off.

The price for the laser described as above is: 235$ + shipping

This piece is definitely a collectable! Too bad I'm kinda broke at the moment, otherwise I'd strongly consider it.

Also yes this is the first time this finish is sold here on LPF! I like experimenting with new stuff! Sometimes it is really cool and sometimes i fail

Additional info to make things extra clear:

- Runs of a single 18650 cell
- Tailcap is negative pole allways!

I offer my personal warrantee on the buyer meaning that if the laser breaks due to my fault, I will replace the broken part for free.

Nice to see a more rugged looking host, not that I can get bored of a high polish.

And at that price it looks like a really good deal. But I believe half the fun is in the build :yh:.

Building is fun yes! Except when you blow a diode.. Do not do that

it would be for me but I'm just looking for a first laser this is also probably too much power too.
but i think it would be worth it to most other people
