Hey ho everybody,
i am New in this nice forum (surprise ;) ).At first i tell you that i`m German an that my English is more than just worse... I am 15 and interested for lasers since my 8st birthday. I want to build different lasers in future and i hope this Forum will give me interesting ideas and tricks i could use.

So, i hope you can understand what i want to tell you XD...
Nice greetings, Paul

Hi Paul, welcome to the forum !!

As far as i can notice , that is not at all bad english. 8-)
however i'm your neighbour from Holland, so i probably can't tell whether or not its perfect english as well ;D
I let the judging over to the natives speakers , hahaha

Cheers !

so, here is my first question about lasers...

In know that in dvd an cd burners are different diodes. The dvd ore cd player diodes ar ir diodes right? so which diodes in which burners are visible red? The dvd burner diodes?.... ive no kind of a plan what for drives y need

Welcome, and I speak a tiny amount of German from high school, but probably nothing coherent lol
ok, here it is.
cd player = low power IR.
cd burner = high power IR.
dvd player = low power red.
dvd burner = high power red.
So a DVD Burner is probably the only one you want to consider. (I assume you want to build a burning red seeing as that's the easiest)
But instead of ripping a drive yourself, you should consider getting a diode from SenKat at http://sales.stonetek.org
Have fun reading!

oh, thanks for informations.
ahm, do you know which wavelength a dvd burner diode aproximare has?

a DVD diode can range anywhere from about 640-670, the latter being the darker red.

Yep good english except its not 8st, in english its 8th ;D

Oh and welcome to the best forum ;D ;D

...lazer.... ;D ;D ;D
