Need help with 18650 Vs 2 16340 batteries

Hi guys


Bought this:

It recommends 2 x 16340 batteries however i only have 1 18650 battery.

I just tried that 18650 battery in there and its not bright at all!

I can only shine it approx 20 metres and it appears very faintly.

I did order 2 16340 batteries on ebay earlier so im waiting for those.

Bit worried though... Will i get the same result with the 16340 batteries when they arrive?

Or would it be more brighter as it'll be 2x 3.7V?

Simple answer is there will be no comparison. It may be 10x brighter with 2 batteries and 100 x more dangerous to your eyes.

Yes 2- batteries in series will produce over 8Volts and your diode will be more powerful and efficient . And like said more dangerous so be careful gat some glasses.
