I am throwing a party for my cousin and promised him I would get 100 green laser pens and 100 uv (purple) laser pens w/ diffraction tips. I was wondering where I could purchase this from, or who I could purchase this from that has quality laser pens?

Thank you for your help

You want to have 200 laser pointers swinging around at a party!

Hand out switchblades instead. It will be less hazardous. You have to be close to someone to hurt them with a knife

Recipe for disaster.

Four green pens at my friends party almost got it shut down(all adults too)by police. stick to silly string. there are no safe green or UV pens even with diffraction tips. They come right off.

@ daguin- box cutters are cheaper and sharper-than switchblades.-rotfl.

They will be given away after the party as a parting gift to responsible adults with a warning label and batteries will not be given in them to avoid any blinding all night lol

However, does anyone have an idea on what the bulk rate should be? I have found pens for 6 and 7 dollars but i was thinking at a 100 of each, that it would be lower like 4 or 5?

Thanks

Contact Yobresal. He was doing this awhile back. He may have his contact info still

Just a heads-up:

I have an old cheapo $8 ebay 405nm "5mw" pen. I always thought it was strong for it's cost, but only recently acquired an LPM.

Well - it peaks on the LPM above 100mW. That really made me question my previous usage of it. I never wore glasses when it was "just a cheap 5mw pointer", but at above 100mW, it becomes a bit different.

I guess my point is, with 100 to 200 cheap laser pointers, you're bound to have a bunch that are over-spec, and perhaps dangerously so.

You COULD do eye damage with a 100mW 405nm pen.
