Man that thing is bright. There doesn’t look like there’s a star in the sky.

Man... isn’t that host too small for such diode at that current? What duty cycle it has?

Duty cycle? If i set 1.3w with G-2 lens. 5s right
My pen NDG7475 is 10s :D

That pen has no heat sink. I suspect what is called an NDG7475 is actually an NDG700. They look identical, but there is a great difference in power. I would remove the module and driver and put it in a proper host with a heat sink. Some diodes were never meant to be in pens. The NDG700 and the NUBM44 come to mind.

It knows. NDG7475 NDG700 This is similar in appearance. my NDG7475 diode is from Techhood China..

My friend has a meter and power supply. No problem :D. and Settings below 1.8 amps are safe for my pen build

These diodes aren't very efficient. They have a high Vf compared to the reds and blues. For this reason, they tend to get hotter faster than the others. I would keep your run times short in that pen.

i know it It does not exceed the setting value of 1.4A everything is fine :p. however if i change this driver to X-driver 1.8A or SXD 2A. The fever becomes serious

I've got one I am putting into an MS-SSW-II host from sinner. DTR made the same laser back when these diodes first came out. I will post a thread on it when it is done. I'm thinking of setting mine to 2 amps. The host takes two 26650 batteries.

"The host takes two 266650 batteries."

Wow, those are some beefy batteries

SXD 2.4A 26650 or 18650 2pcs is good for NDG7475. Max output with G-2 1.4W right? :p

Yes, but 2.4 amps is pushing that diode pretty hard. It isn't cheap, so you might want to reconsider using that much current on such an expensive diode. It could work out fine or it could fail, that is the chance you'll take.
