This is the only eye protection I have found that has some protection at every wavelength. Although all the visible light wavelengths have the least protection.

They do make Lead laminated glass that is designed to stop Gamma Rays. Pop a couple of Lead glass lenses into a frame and there you go....Gamma Ray Eye Protection.

Finally! Thanks to the 635nm from Dave, I now have the start of a decent rainbow . I forgot to throw in the HeNe, maybe next time.

Which beam in your picture is the 635nm ? and what mw is it?

I don't think there is a 635 nm in the pic, just 2X 650 - 660 nm, as I read and understand it. Best Wishes!

btw, I'm dying for another very foggy night to do it again and put in my 635 nm laser, even though it's only 4-5 mW -Glenn

Is a 5mw 635nm beam visible in the dark without smoke or fog? and where did you get yours? im intrigued by this wavelength

No, not visible without fog or smoke, I don't remember, but it was a sale a long while back, I got two 635 nm pens for about $14 These are very like my regular ~ 658 nm pointers to my eye, but quite different to the camera, where it recorded more orange than neon. - glenn

To the right is an IR c-mount unknown wavelength running @ 4.5AMPS, too dangerous to attempt a beam pic plus my camera has an IR filter. Not sure how many watts it outputs but it lights wood on fire!
