looking for cheap yellow laser.....(price wise)

hello all. i am looking for a cheap yellow laser perferably over 5mw and under $50. if you have one or know where i can get one let me know!

I hope you know that yellow lasers are very very expensive! unless you do the mod that jayrob does then your not going to get one under 100 dollars.

Cheap and yellow don't work in the same sentence unfortunately. True yellow lasers (593.5nm, 589nm) are fairly difficult to produce , which means they cost substantially more than most green or diode lasers.

I can tell you my knowledge on lasers has grown expensionally by using this forum. So I would say your theory on this forum isn't valid. If you do spend a few minutes to use the search function (which I do find a little hard to read, and the results are based on a google) you will be able to find your answers. If you can't find them then ask, I can tell you the few times I asked for help they have been very helpful.

There are 2500 people online *at this current moment* I think that alone shows this is a usefulness of this site.

but seriously if you want the cheapest true yellow (589nm/593.5nm) you could buy (new, not used) then come check out Glenn's GB#8 thread (it already closed, but the details for #9 are being posted in that thread). He already got quoted on 1mW 589nm CNI GLP-CR2 Pens for $250 if get 10 people! This is a breakthrough for 589nm (it is more expensive on the <5mW end but cheaper on the >15mW) and we're currently awaiting quotes for the same thing in 2mW and 5mW. I highly recommend checking this out and maybe even taking part!
