where can i get it to buy ? what is the maximum distance i can use it for to ignite materials and what is the best safe use distance from anyone to make sure no one is blinded by it ? is it effective in normal daylight ?
 





1) You won't see the Beam or the Beam profile..
2) The safe eye distance for that 2Watt IR laser I would say
is about a mile. I wouldn't want to be any closer without
eye protection...
3) Daylight has no effect on the effectiveness of a Laser
4) You and everyone around you will definitely need Laser
Safety Goggles...

If you have never had a visible Laser >100mW... I would
suggest that a 2Watt IR Laser is not for you...

thank for the info . i want one but just want to make sure of some things because i wanted info and couldnt find specific answers . so where or who can i purchase it from ?
 
i know search is my friend but i need more info so if ppl could point me to the right direction , it would be greatly appreciate it
 
ok so i contacted a couple ppl to purchase one but either no replies or the thread is basically inactive . who would be the person to help out?
 
I tried to find one but I didn't have any luck either. Have you thought about building your own?
 
but the price difference on freaklasers.com is way high that what you could get here
 
how come ppl who selling dont respond ? do you have join a clique after you join the site?
 
Nobody is selling 2W infrared lasers.
I build a few high power infrared lasers but I would not sell them. They are not toys.
 
but there are threads selling them . i just wanted to get one that was available . i wasnt thinking of it as a toy but as a tool .
 
You really should hear them out, you need more experience with lasers and should already know the answers to the questions your asking in your 1st post long before you get a 2w IR. IR's are very dangerous, and can easily blind people

you wouldnt believe that i reading and reading but sometimes ppl say contradicting info that is why i ask the questions in the first post . i always threads read on this forum and its only recent that i signed up . where im from (trinidad) its like 7 to 1us so when i see a deal i take it but i would really like it if i get someone who custom builds also .
