Lazerer VS skylasers

Hi
I am in a bit of a dilemma.

After some interchanges with astralist I'm now considering buying one of these lasers:

LZCS - 532nm 200mW Focusable Green Laser Pointer from lazerer (89$) and

H532L-S200 from skylaser which is 99$

Now the difference between this two is that lazerers model uses 18650 battery and the skylasers model Cr123A. I'm guessing tha the 18650 batteries are better than the Cr123A.
Also I like the skylasers host better.

I'd like to use the laser for burning.

From what I've read in this forum they are both reputable companies.
What are your thoughts? :)

I haven't heard much about skylasers. But I have never heard anything bad about lazerer, i have heard that all there lasers are above spec. And all of lazerer's lasers come with a true power guarantee. There shipping is also fast.

just want you to know the host and quality of built from skylaser

and check at this Texaslasersystems

they are skylaser's reseller. they tell that it using 18650. but better if you ask to skylaser's customer service.

I haven't heard much about skylasers neither.

However, Lazerer is a reliable seller. I bought two lasers from lazerer, both are overspec, both came fast (within 10 days), and Max, the owner, answered all my emails fast and to the matter.
 
Skylasers was a very trusted name previously but then their website became inactive. I suspect that they went under and the name may have been bought by another company and now resurrected. This is only speculation though.

www.skylasers.com is their US distributor site, and now its no longer operated.

but you can still access the original manufacturer websites at www.skylaser.cn

i know that they are still a good manufacturer company

i would suggest you lazerer's laser, altough all 200mw lasers are out of stock. ALL CAPS RAGE. i am wainting to get back in stock for like a month or something lol. i want that laser so bad.
 
People - don't go ANYWHERE near anything that has anything to do with Texas laser systems - I ordered from them. They broke all their promises about shipping (in fact I got nothing !) - they NEVER asnwer emails - despite their claims of answering in an average of half an hour and their phone system always goes to an answer service which they NEVER respond to. In the end I have had to go through my credit card company to get my money back. Frankly - I think they are just scammers who take the money with no intention of ever sending anythin gout - PLEASE --- don't make the same mistake I did !

Maybe I missed something obvious, but where is their S200 model at $99?

Anyhow, have one of their H532L-100-B-Fa lasers here. It outputs a stable 25mW. Rated 100mW. :D

@alant001 can you replace it for me with an up to spec pointer?

Definitely go with lazerer... also the 200mW version that you're looking at is transformable. Meaning you can take out part of the barrel and you can use one cr123a battery with it.

Which is a fancy term for you not willing to replace the product manufactured by you and underspec?

They do seem to have a supply of your products.

Can you from the pictures in that review tell if it's a counterfeit production or your original products? Or track it's origins?
