Damn I always wanted one of these beasts. I can't afford any now because I already built a pocket mini :/ Anyway, good to see your beasts are back Kenom! I hope you reach the minimum of 100 orders :)

Ok...I have been skimming through this thread and I am definitely interested in a beast, just for the C-mount.:)

I must have missed one thing though. How much are they going to cost and Has a driver been made for one of these yet?

In the first post Kenom estimates about $80 for the beast and says that Drlava is "working on" a driver for the C-Mount diode

i need a host that can hold a 4 watt c-mount 900nm 1.8-2.2v. And can someone tell where i can get a driver for this laser.
 
Hey just curious, How powerful do you think a 24x dvd burner would be since thats a c mount?

And you guys should ask dark to buy some like 5 once he gets some capital, if these ever surface then he could sell the hosts on his website and we'll get orders faster
