I got in contact with Kenom and bought one of his lasers. For the price compared to all other burning lasers you cannot beat it. I already purchased a green burning laser rated @ 100mw. Sure, the beam is brighter and its neat for pointing at things at night, but it does not even come close to the burning power of Kenom's laser. Not to mention the quality seems amazing.
I put in a 1 year old CR123A lithium from some no-name company that I received with a laser sight for one of my guns. This battery was old and crappy. I stuck it in there and focused the beam, it was burning things almost instantly. Now I've added a duracell lithium photo battery and this thing will light a match at 3-5ft. the instant it turns on.
Also, if you have a bit of patience, you can focus the beam to be extremely good for long distance pointing as well. Theres a radio tower visible from my window about 1km away, I can hit the top of it with a nicely focused beam no problems and the beam is visible at night as well.
I'd highly recommend purchasing one of these for burning and just for fun.
I also like the idea that with the plastic 2L pop-bottle cap it becomes a very bright mini flashlight
P.S., I'm from Canada, and while the shipping took about 1.5-2 weeks, the rest of the process that was concerned with Kenom's part was very quick and spot on, and the product was shipped with more than sufficient packaging. He also shipped it as a gift to avoid duty/brokerage fees for me.
