Just bought the new Wicked Lasers Evo

Hey guys, first of all I hope I've posted this in the right section.

Just a few days ago I purchased a WickedLasers Evo from the WickedLasers website.

Now I know many people on here don't like WL's for them being over priced and under spec.. etc, but me being me I could not resist it I took the risk.

I live in the UK , I ordered the 50mW+ with free shipping just to see how long it will take to get here. I checked the order - first and it said "processing" yesterday I checked and it says "sorting" and the same today.

I know the Chinese new year is coming up at the end of this month.

I was just curious how long you guys think it will be before it gets here to the UK?

Should I have paid the extra £10 or so for express shipping or not?

Or have I ordered at the wrong time being January?

I'm expecting it to be a few weeks at least...

According to their website it could be anywhere from 2-4 weeks.

Just be patient, if it dosen't come after 4 weeks then you have a problem. Keep checking the tracking to make sure everything is going smoothly

express shipping is a rip on those foreign sites, especially WL. They will ship it when they ship it. Doesnt matter if its free or express shipping

Only thing is nice is the host. but 150$ for 50mw.. no thanks thats just too much. Should be quick from china to Europa a week or two is usually normal.

I love the host my self... That's what made me go for it, I know it's over priced, plus it's something I can mess about with using my iPhone.

I will keep checking, and let you guys know when it comes...

Update, still processing... So I contacted Joe on Facebook he sent me the following info:

" Hello, sent your order to the carrier, it has shipped already and is in transit to you.
Your package is right on schedule.
You will receive the shipping/tracking information, as soon as it is received from the carrier, in an email in about 2 to 5 business days or sooner. "

Still no tracking number as yet, this has been 3 days ago.

Hook line sinker! They take you as an idiot. That is a load of BS and I'm surprised you don't see it. Since when does a seller pay for shipping and the shipper say oh sorry, we don't have the tracking info yet, we will send it to you in 3-5 days. Why doea WL think EVERY BUYER IS AN IDIOT. Call them out on it or you will juat keep getting thrown to the back burner and never get your laser. If its already sent then no harm done.

Hmm strange. I have an e2 as well. It's a little ......different but still an e2 body. I love the look of the laser very much. Nice and sleek. Professional.

Sorry to hear your having shipping problems , but at least they are in contact. Gotta hate when those companies jerk you around once they have your money. Before they do, most are very helpful. Then when you pay, the whole story changes.

I do agree, and I know exactly what you are saying.

I do feel that way, already I won't be ordering anything ever again. Something does not seem right...

It still says "Processed" today (3 days after the message he sent me ) - no tracking info yet either!

He did say 2-5 days... It's already been 3!

What do you guys think I should do? I can't do much more than ask Joe what's going on with my tracking info - IF it has been shipped, like he said it has, which I highly doubt it.

Do you think I should contact Joe again and try to find out what's going on. Or will I be filled with crap again?

I knew it would be a long time anyways. It was a risk I took.

But... I don't like what I was told. "it's on it's way to you" Yet no tracking info 3 days later..

I'd ask again how they are able to ship something and have the carrier not supply tracking since that's impossible. Worst comes to worst, you fill a claim through paypal.

After 30 days of not receiving a laser I would be on the computer filing a claim through paypal. For those dumb enough to not use paypal, Id be on the phone with my CC company filing a claim.

@Jro, all you can do now is wait and see if it ever arrives, aka WL just made BANK off of you and they dont have to send you anything since you cant make a claim anymore :crackup:

To everyone else, THERE IS A REASON WL IS ON THE NOT TRUSTED COMPANY LIST AND HAS A FULL THREAD WITH OVER 100 REASONS NOT TO BUY FROM THEM!!!!!!

Although, I have a guy sending me a WL Arctic 1W to get metered since he is selling it (he was one of the "lucky" people who actually got a laser). Comes with, oh god hold on while I dig his PM up, sheath (think thats what WL calls a holster), charger, battery, safety glasses and case. Anyone interested in buying this can PM me and I'll set you up with the seller.
