I am curious to why you bend the posts into eachother like that? I know you’re doing this to protect from ESD but that method also moves the posts within the diode and could lead to diode failure. I’m not sure where to buy them, but there are these small plastic/metal pieces that do the same thing but they just slide on like a cap, I’ve gotten a few of them on my diodes from ebay purchases from Barnett Lasers.
