I have my current adjust on the same pot. And it works linearly. Are you sure current adjust isn't from 0-15 as well?

Cyparagon: that seemed odd to me as well, but it's in the datasheet here: http://www.midwest-laser.com/2110ps.pdf

Perhaps it's just a recommended maximum setting?

I noticed that as well, why they'd design it for 0-6.5V when they only supply a 15V power line, however I haven't run into any problems turning it all the way up (In terms of damaging the PSU, although I recorded over 13A of current output, which is over its design rating), so you wouldn't want to run it like that for long.
