It is safe to buy this laser pointer?

I like how they say its 1000mW, then say this is the power rating "Power <1w (blue), <100mw (red), >30mw (green)".... Check out O-like.com or lazerer.com for some good lasers.

it combines the three into one. the max output power is the blue one with 1000mw. it seems its description is not so professional. i ll check your recommended sites. thanks!

:o Can you recommend a good one?

Laserglow, optotronics, jetlasers, lazerer, and o-like are all reputable companies.

The first two are not chinese.

Jetlasers is hands down the best chinese company out there - extremely professional, and stand by their products.

Lazerer, and o-like are more budget/entry level. Both of them do stand by their products, and work well with customers. Although in my experience lazerer has been faster to respond and to ship out orders.

Why not just get a torchlight? Laser pointers were not and will never be made for "lighting things".

i am sorry that i made me misunderstood. here, by "lighting" i means burning not illuminating.

"Package Includes:
1 × Laser Pen
1 × Charger
1 × User Manual
2 × Battery
1 × Red Laser Head
1 × Green Laser Head
5 × Laser Cap
1 × Key "

So from the description there is no blue ?!
OR are they implying that you put a Red laser "head" over the existing blue and the resulting output is less than 100mw of red ?

Sounds completely bogus and a waste of time nevermind $$$$$

you remind me of it.
i have chatted with the customer service representative and asked her such question. she says the blue one is set on the laser pen. and the output power changes with the different wavelenghth of different colors. <1w (blue), <100mw (red), >30mw (green)
