is my laser broken

hi so i have a green 200mw green laser when i shine it on a wall it looks like a green galaxy is this common? i had another laser that did the same thing and eventually just turned into a big green blob

is this fixable

No it is not fixable. Your diode is LEDd or about to LED. Did you pot mod your laser?

i didn't put any mod this is the second one ive had do this both were only a few days old

If you really have only had it for a couple days, I would try to send it back. I dont think it's fixable.

If you decide to get another one, I would suggest you buy from o-like they have a better reputation around here

For one of them that sounds possible. For the "blob" it seems unlikely
