S3 Spyder III Arctic. According to the manufacturer, it is the "world's most powerful laser you can legally own." I didn't know any better then, but I do now.

Don't feel bad I did it twice!
Bought an S3 broke trying to get "MORE POWER" by focusing it.
Then I bought a used one off WL Facebook Page... only to learn out about LPF.
Oh well I guess the arctic is something in itself just another dangerous "Big Boy Toy" for the collection.

I don't think it is like you bought a pile of crap, it just cost more than it should. I would expect you should have no trouble selling it, and from what I have seen it is a good looking host.

I've sunk a good bit of $ into stuff that turned out to be completely useless. At least you have a functioning laser with some resale there.
