Hey i ordered a 50mW greenie from LED Shoppe, any one got one and can tell me about beam quality? what it can do? ballons, matches, tape, etc.

I dunno. I'll assume it's the same 50mW as is sold on DX, so... output is between 20mW and 50mW, not IR filtered, beam quality is good, DPSS's usually have tighter beams than diodes and green is so incredibly much more visible than red that you'll see the beam pretty well in a dim room... You may or may not be able to pop a black balloon, you'll probably need a magnifying glass.. You likely won't be able to light a match, but you should be able to get tape to smoke a bit.. I'm basing my guesses off DX's 50mW green, which is often less powerful than their "true" 30mW.

Actually from what I have read in the Companies section, LEDshoppe lasers seem to tend to be right around the advertised power..
