How many watt of green laser do I need?

Got a green laser pen which I do not like.

My friend lend me a laser marked <5000mw running on 18650 which I find it very powerful (can see the beam all the way).

I am not trying to get a green laser which can allow me to see the beam all the way. Does a 200mw beam be more visible than a 100mw beam? I am thinking whether to get a 100mw or 200m or higher, just like my friend laser. Any help will be appreciated.

And remember to buy a power certification. If you don't think it is necessary now you probably will later when you wan't to know the exact power of your laser.

Anyone know what is the minimum power of my friend laser? Indoor with light I can see a faint beam. At night the beam is visible from laser to as far as I can see.

The stronger the more visible it will be, but the more dangerous it will be.

You can buy a 100W green laser if you have the money It will probably cost more than an average car, but the point is that you can buy it

The only way to know the output of a Laser is
with a calibrated Laser Power Meter...

BTW... if he turns it OFF the minimum power will be 0mW...
