Agreed. If you are talking about protecting it from static while you are working ona DIY project, for example a Blu-ray, it would be a good idea to ground yourself while working on it. You can get a cheap disposable grounding strap (3M brand ) from most electronics shops (or Fry's Electronics if near you) for $1.50, or a better one for a few dollars. If not, wrap some exposed copper wire around your wrist and ground it to something, such as a cold water pipe. Another thing I do is keep those anti-static bags that PC parts come in, you know the bluish metallic looking plastic bags.
