I would not advise an optical power meter for serious company testing. Readings can be thrown way off with some stray IR, plus the fact that optical LPMs are fairly inaccurate to begin with.

Anyone buying this optical LPM for the low price being offered
is obviously not going to use it for "serious company testing".
That serious testing would require a highly precise Optical LPM
using a head similar this one...
